BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont men's soccer, the reigning back-to-back America East Champions, announced its full 16-game schedule for the 2026 regular season on Friday morning. The Catamounts will host nine games at Virtue Field.

NOTES

• UVM opens the 2026 campaign with a four match homestand starting on Thursday Aug. 20 hosting George Mason from Virtue Field for the team's home opener, welcoming the Patriots to Burlington for the first time ever. This will mark the first meeting between Vermont and Geroge Mason since 1988. Kickoff for UVM's home opener is slated for 6 p.m. ET.
• The Catamounts will remain home in Burlington for the next three matches, facing Colgate (Aug. 23), Charlotte (Aug. 28), and Holy Cross (Sept. 1).
• Following the four match homestand to begin the 2026 campaign, Vermont travels to Fairfield CT for its first road contest of the season, playing Sacred Heart on Saturday (Sept. 5) at 5 p.m.
• UVM will stay on the road for the next three matches, having bouts against Boston University (Sept. 8), Hofstra (Sept. 15), and Dartmouth (Sept. 19), three matches facing opponents from three separate conferences (Patriot League, Coastal Athletic Association, Ivy League). 
• Vermont returns to Virtue Field opening America East play on Saturday Sept. 26, welcoming conference foe Bryant to Burlington with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. ET, beginning the first match of a three match homestand.
• The Catamounts wrap up their non-conference competition for the regular season hosting UMass Amherst on Tuesday Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. from Virtue Field. Vermont will then return to America East play facing NJIT at home on Saturday Oct. 3 at 4:30 p.m.
• UVM then travels to Baltimore, MD where the Catamounts will go head-to-head against UMBC on Saturday, October 10 with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
• Vermont welcomes New Hampshire to Virtue Field for a rematch of the 2025 America East Semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. Following the twin state rivalry duel, the Catamounts will head down to Albany, NY to face UAlbany on Saturday Oct. 24 with kickoff set for 6 p.m.
• The Cats will then return to Burlington for their final home match of the regular season on Friday, Oct. 30 welcoming Binghamton to Virtue Field with kickoff slated for 4:30 p.m.
• Vermont wraps up the regular season on the road in Lowell, MA, competing in the regular season finale against UMass Lowell on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. Vermont is currently riding an eight-game unbeaten streak over the Riverhawks (7-0-1) dating back to 2019.
