The league's major award winners will be announced on Monday (Nov. 4) at 2 p.m.
Jenkins has accumulated a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a graduate student and the public administration major has made the All-Academic Team for the second straight year. Last season, she earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar Third Team All-East Region honors as an undergraduate senior. The Smithfield, Rhode Island native is also a three-time America East Commissioner's Honor Roll selection. In the career ranks, she finished seventh with 71 games played and six game-winning goals.
Wallace saw action in all 16 games with 14 starts as a rookie. She led the team with 39 shots and ranked second with two goals. She scored her first collegiate goal, a walk-off winner, in a 2-1 overtime victory at Army on Aug. 25. She added another goal at conference foe Binghamton on Sept. 22. The Cats have landed a newcomer on the All-Rookie Team in each of the last 15 seasons.
Vermont posted a 3-10-3 overall record in 2019. The Catamounts reached the win column against Sacred Heart, Army, and UMBC. Despite the struggles, UVM battled hard in each match as seven of the 10 setbacks were decided by a one-goal margin.
