BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Bryant Bulldogs (5-3) won both relays and 11 individual events to claim a 186-113 victory over the Vermont Catamounts (2-4, 2-1 AE) Saturday at Forbush Natatorium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior captain Emily Murphy swept the boards for the third time this season with a one-meter score of 221.62 and a three-meter score of 223.34. Murphy has won the three-meter dive in four of five meets this season.
- Vivian Nguyen (2:11.12), Katie Rivers (2:12.68), and Jenny O'Neil (2:14.50) swept the 200 fly. Nguyen finished second in both the 100 fly (59.43) and 100 free (54.36). O'Neil took third in the 100 fly (59.56).
- Nguyen, O'Neil, Sarah Doherty, and Cailin Campbell finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.84. Doherty took third in the 200 back (2:13.72).
- Freshman Beth Hartog finished second in both the 100 back (1:00.64) and the 200 back (2:09.26). She also touched the wall third in the 200 IM (2:14.17).
- The 400 free relay team of Mina Poppas, Isabelle Magbie, Kira Parker, and Sophia Smith closed the meet with a time of 3:40.12 to finish second. Poppas also finished second in the 200 free (1:57.57).
UP NEXT
Vermont competes in the three-day Harold Anderson Invitational at the University of Rhode Island beginning Thursday (Nov. 22) and continuing through Sunday (Nov. 24). It marks UVM's first trip to the URI invitational since 2006.
