BOSTON - UVM women's basketball junior
Josie Larkins has been named America East Player of the Week. The league office made the announcement on Monday afternoon. It is the second straight week the Catamounts have been honored by the conference.

Larkins set a new career-high with 29 points Sunday afternoon leading the Catamounts to a 71-66 win over Bryant in Vermont's home opener. She matched a program record with eight three-pointers for Vermont. With the Catamounts trailing the Bulldogs by two entering the fourth quarter she scored 13 straight points.

Larkins leads the team in scoring with 15.5 points-per-game. She is shooting 44.1% from behind the arc and has made 15 three-pointers this season. Larkins is tied for 19th in the NCAA averaging 3.75 made three-point field goals a game.

Larkins is the first Catamount to be named America East Player of the Week since
Hanna Crymble was named Co-Player of the Week on January 8, 2018.
