BOSTON – The America East Conference unveiled its All-Conference, All-Rookie and All-Academic teams on Friday afternoon. Vermont was represented by six student-athletes, including three members of the All-Conference First Team.

The First Team trio was
Rasmus Tobinski,
Jon Arnar Barðdal, and
Ívar Örn Árnason. Tobinski was one of the league's top scoring threats this season. He finished second in the conference in goals (10) and ranked third in points (22). Barðdal was also one of the premiere scorers in America East. He registered the fifth-most points (13) and assists (5). Árnason made his presence felt on both ends of the field. He netted the third-most goals (6) in America East and helped the Green and Gold post eight clean sheets.
Adrian Gahabka landed on the All-Conference Second Team. The German defender scored his first collegiate goal at Loyola Chicago in the season opener and buried the game-winning goal at Stony Brook. He also doled out two assists and anchored the back line that notched eight shutouts.
Frosti Brynjólfsson and Tobinski made the All-Rookie Team. Brynjólfsson boasted the second-most assists (7) in America East, including one in each of his last four games. In a 4-0 shutout over Binghamton, he racked up a season-high four points on one goal and two assists.
Arnar Steinn Hansson and Gahabka were selected to the All-Academic Team. Steinn Hansson accumulated a 3.91 GPA as a biomedical engineering major and has received his second career All-Academic Team nod. Gahabka accrued a 3.76 GPA as an interdisciplinary studies major.
The major awards will be announced on Monday (Nov. 11) at 2 p.m. on Twitter.
Vermont has clinched the No. 2 seed in the America East Tournament and has received a first-round bye. UVM will host the winner of No. 3 seed Hartford and No. 6 seed Binghamton in semifinal round on Wednesday (Nov. 13). The opening kickoff is set for 4 p.m. Fans can catch all of the action at

Tickets will cost $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 14 and under. UVM students will receive free admission with the presentation of their UVM ID.
