BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont Catamounts earned their second consecutive win on Saturday with a 173-127 victory over the Stony Brook Seawolves at Forbush Natatorium.
Vermont improves to 2-3 (2-1 AE) with the win while Stony Brook falls to 3-2 (0-1 AE).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200 medley relay team of Sarah Doherty, Cailin Campbell, Jenny O'Neil, and Vivian Nguyen opened the meet with a time of 1:50.75 to take second.
- Smith finished second in the 200 free (1:57.23). Doherty took third in the 100 back (1:00.68). O'Neil finished second in both the 100 breast (1:10.10) and 200 IM (2:13.75). Campbell also took second in the 100 free (54.17). Nguyen took second in both the 100 fly (58.98) and the 200 fly (2:12.14).
- Maria Kelly (10:47.23) won the 1,000 free with Molly Williams (11:02.77) following in second place.
- Vermont swept the 50 free with Kira Parker (25.04), Sierra Sexton (25.16), and Isabelle Magbie (25.60) claiming the top-three spots. Parker also finished third in the 100 free (54.67).
- Taylor Nguyen (216.30), Emily Murphy (213.44), and Olenka Duncan (193.73) took the top spots in the one-meter dive. Murphy ran away with the three-meter dive, posting a score of 249.80 to take first. Duncan (199.73) and Nguyen (185.85) followed in second and third, respectively.
- Mina Poppas (5:13.86) won the 500 free with Smith following in third with a time of 5:17.63.
- The 400 free relay team of Nguyen, Doherty, Magbie, and Sexton closed the meet with a victory, posting a relay time of 3:39.42.
MEET NOTES
- With the victory, the Cats Win, Community Wins campaign and Vermont Mutual Insurance Group will donate $100 to Make-A-Wish Vermont, bringing this year's total to 93 wins and $9,300.

Vermont hosts Bryant (4-1, 2-0 NEC) next Saturday (Nov. 16) in the third of three consecutive home meets at Forbush Natatorium. The meet against the Bulldogs is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will stream through CatamounTV.
