Natalie Schick won the 200 Back Saturday, and the Catamounts
Amy Kenworthy,
Kara Cullinan,
Natalie Schlemmer and
Havana Layton earned All-Conference honors propelling Vermont to a third-place finish in the 2026 America East Championships hosted by VMI. UVM finished the meet with 613 points and Bryant won their first-ever America East title with 775 points.

"We had an extremely strong day today," said Head Coach
Gerry Cournoyer. "We saw five All-Conference performances and several records get broken today. For a year that was supposed to be a rebuilding year, this team showed what they can do when they work together.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Schick continued her strong championship meet with a historic performance for the Catamounts in the 200 Back. She won her second individual title in as many days setting a new varsity record in the event with a time of 1:58.94. She finished one-hundredth of a second faster than UMBC's Alice Marini to earn the gold medal.
- Schick is the first Catamount in program history to win the 100 and 200 Back at an America East Championship.
- Two Catamount first years earned All-Conference honors in the 1650 Free to kickoff Saturday's finals. Cullinan was second with a UVM first year record of 16:47.01. Her teammate Kenworthy was third in a time of 16:58.40. Amy's 1000 split was also a UVM first year record of 10:07.38.
- Schlemmer also earned All-Conference honors in the 200 Breast Saturday night. She placed third overall in a time of 2:17.12.
- Layton placed third in the 100 Free with a time of 50.47, earning All-Conference honors.
- In the 200 Fly the Catamounts had two swimmers in the A-Final, Emma Free placed fourth with a time of 2:02.89 and Lauren Clark was fifth in a time of 2:03.28.
- Vermont closed out the 2026 Championship with a second-place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Layton, Michaela Miller, Katie Lester and Anastazja Szukala finished in a time of 3:23.79.
