BOSTON – UVM men's basketball junior forward
Anthony Lamb has earned his seventh America East Player of the Week honor of the season. The league made the announcement on Monday morning.

Lamb passes former UVM standout Taylor Coppenrath for the most weekly awards by a Catamount in one season and ranks second all-time in league history behind Stony Brook's Jameel Warney (2014-15) and Hartford's Kenny Adeleke (2005-06) with eight awards.
The junior averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Green and Gold. He shot 57.6% (15-for-26) in the two victories with a pair of 20-point outings. The Rochester, New York native poured in a game-high 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting in a 73-44 rout of New Hampshire on Wednesday. He also collected six boards and handed out two assists.
Lamb wrapped up the week with 25 points as the Cats held off Hartford for a 77-75 win on Saturday. The 6-6 forward hit 7-of-14 attempts from the floor and 10-of-12 trips at the charity stripe. He grabbed six rebounds and logged three assists.
The seven-time weekly award winner leads the league with a 21.5 scoring average. He sits second in rebounding average (7.8), field goal percentage (52.6%), and blocks (50).
