BOSTON – The University of Vermont women's basketball team had three players earn All-America East honors. The league announced its year-end awards and All-Conference Teams on Tuesday morning.

Hanna Crymble was named to the All-Conference Third Team and the All-Academic Team. A biochemistry major, Crymble maintained a 3.84 GPA, second highest among her peers on the All-Academic Team. In the regular season Crymble led the Catamounts in scoring with 13.8 PPG. She was sixth in America East in scoring. She was Vermont's leading scorer in 16 of the Catamounts 28 games.
After a record-breaking season senior forward
Candice Wright was named to the All-Defensive Team. She set a school record this season with 81 blocks, tied for the fourth most in the entire NCAA. Twice this season she had eight blocks in a single game. She finished the regular season with more blocks than four America East teams. In conference play this season she also averaged 11.1 points per game.
Rose Caverly was named to the America East All-Rookie Team. Caverly started 15 America East games for the Catamounts this season averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 assists per game. She was a consistent presence for Vermont, routinely playing over 33 minutes a night. On December 3, she was named America East Rookie of the Week after scoring a career-high 13 points against NJIT in her home-state of New Jersey.
The Catamounts head to Long Island on Wednesday as they face the three-seed Stony Brook Seawolves in the America East Quarterfinals at 7 p.m. The matchup will be available on ESPN+, the exclusive home of the men's and women's America East quarterfinals and semifinals.
