TRACK & FIELD NOTEBOOK
UVM track & field continues the indoor season with a short trip down Route 7 for the Middlebury Winterfell on Saturday (Jan. 18). The meet is slated for an 11 a.m. start at Virtue Field House. 802 Timing will be scoring the event.

LAST YEAR'S WINTERFELL
The Vermont men and women swept last year's Middlebury Winterfell with 243 points and 232 points, respectively.
Jenna Bourdeau took two individual victories in the 60 meter hurdles (9.68s) and the high jump (1.58m).
Justin Liechty was also a part of two wins, one individually and one in the 4x400 meter relay. Liechty finished first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.73 seconds.
Lauren Trumble '19 set a facility record in the 600 meter run with a time of 1:33.79. In the field,
Shane O'Connor (shot put) and
Marina Cannon won (pole vault) won their respective events.

THE HOSTS
The Middlebury Panthers host the annual meet on New Balance Foundation Track at Virtue Field House. The women finished fourth in the Division III New England Championships last year and tied for 16th in the DIII NCAA Indoor Championships. The men finished one spot higher in both championships with a fifth-place finish in the New England's and a tied-17th at the NCAA's.

DARTMOUTH RELAYS RECAP | CatamounTV Highlights
The Vermont men earned a second-place finish, while the women grabbed fourth place on Friday (Jan. 10) at the Dartmouth Relays.
John Benner led the way with victories in the mile (4:12.80) and the 4x800 meter relay.
Chris Gish,
Tyler Marshall, and
Andrew Crompton also contributed to the relay victory.
Jane Leighton registered a personal-best time of 5:06.56 for third-place in the women's mile and ran on the runner-up 4x800 meter relay team with
Caroline O'Shea,
Annemarie Martell, and
Alicia Tebeau-Sherry.
Phoebe Koski (10:02.18) took second-place in the women's 3000 meter and
Andy Chess (4.40m) grabbed second in the men's pole vault.
AT THE TOP OF THE 4x800
The Catamounts own the top marks in the conference for both the men's and women's 4x800 meter relays. The women posted an adjusted time of 9:40.85 at last week's Dartmouth Relays to lead America East by a margin of 23.22 seconds. The men have an adjusted time of 7:46.53 from the Relays, which is good enough for a margin of 5.3 seconds. Â

LOOKING AHEAD
Vermont splits up into meets at Boston University, Middlebury, and New Hampshire next week.
The Catamounts will be competing in the two-day Terrier Invite at BU, beginning on Friday (Jan. 24). On Saturday (Jan. 25), UVM will continue the Terrier Invite while also sending groups to the Middlebury Invitational and UNH.
