LA JOLLA, Calif. – Erin Carty and
Tyler Castillo both won twice in New Hampshire, while
Ryleigh Garrow moved into the Outdoor record book with a blazing 100m hurdles in California. In the team event in New Hampshire both Vermont men and women finished in second with eight combined individual wins.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Triton Invitational
- Ryleigh Garrow posted a ninth-place finish in the women's 100 hurdles. Her time of 14.40 is the fourth fastest in Catamount program history.
- Garrow also put together her best result in the high jump of the young spring season with a 1.58m leap in the high jump.
- Alex Beal finished in tenth place in the women's 1500 with a 4:32.54 and Rachel Barba (4:39.82) finished 13th out of a 72-person field.
- It was also a tenth-place finish for Will Just in the men's 1500m, crossing the line at 3:54.47.
UNH Jim Boulanger Invitational
- Karlie Reith got the first point of the day for Vermont in the women's javelin throw. Reith's sixth place finish after a throw of 29.15m earned her one point.
- In the women's hammer throw, Erin Geib collected third for the Catamounts to collect four points with a throw of 46.22m. Adriana Rodriguez added three more points with a fifth-place finish at 41.91m.
- Jake Voynar earned four points with a fourth-place finish in the men's long jump clearing 6.12m. He followed that up with a five-point performance in the triple jump at 13.04m to finish second.
- Lola Silva added three points to the Catamounts total with a 4.83m leap in the women's long jump finishing in sixth.
- The first victorious field athlete for Vermont was Kate Kelly in the women's triple jump. Her winning mark was 10.87m to grab seven points.
- Reith and Ava Buske split points with a matching third place finish in the pole vault. They both topped out at 3.05m to snag 3.5 points each.
- Jacob Schindler finished second in the men's pole vault (4.10m) to earn five points with teammate Phillip Lou right behind in third at 3.95m to win four points.
- Freshman Chay Mojallali finished in a tie for second in the men's high jump at 1.77m.
- Isabella Beauty placed fifth and Cara Richardson seventh in the women's shot put to earn points for the team.
- It was a win for Daniel Brennan to open the day on the track for the Catamounts. He cruised to a win in the 10,000m clocking a 32:57.06.
- Cassandra Royer posted a 40:41.41 to win the women's side of the 10,000m. Amelia Bohling came in second at 41:07.32. The duo earned Vermont 12 points total.
- In the men's 3000m steeplechase Patrick Mozden led a pack of Catamounts with a second-place finish at 9:43.24. Teddy Tremblay also earned points with his third-place result at 9:53.50. Nate Swanson (10:09.67) and Avi Yagoda (10:24.68) rounded out four finishers in the top-five for the Catamounts.
- Hope Tyska collected a win for Vermont in the women's 3000 steeplechase. She earned seven points with the win, finishing at 11:32.13. Britta Zetterstrom brought home second place for the Catamounts at 11:33.91 and Alina Staten completed the top three posting a 11:48.66.
- It was a second-place finish for Dillon Stoeffler in the men's 1500m at 4:02.99 to pick up five points. James Cilwik also snared two points in the event in sixth at 4:09.01.
- Grace Delisle also came home in second in the women's 1500m. She clocked a 4:46.77. Ava Hayden added three points in the event with a fifth-place finish at 4:50.70.
- In the men's 110 hurdles Carter Faas grabbed a second-place finish for five points (16:30) with Jackson King right behind in third (16:36) for four more points.
- Erin Carty got the win for the Catamounts in the women's 100 hurdles at 17.11. Morgan Doherty finished in fourth at 18.14.
- Sawyer Beck was on the podium in the men's 400 dash finishing third at 52.30.
- Less than a second separated the top four finishers in the women's 400 dash with Mackenzie Thompson earning second at 1:00.44. Inge Schmidt was in third to earn points posting a 1:00.79. Mary Cabell was right behind in fourth at 1:01.40.
- Tyler Castillo got the win in the men's 100 dash at 11:30. Avinabo Poddar claimed three points in fourth at 11.79.
- Sydney Greenidge added a second-place finish in the women's 100 dash at 12.61 for five points.
- DeLisle was back in the points in the women's 800 with a time of 2:26.14 for second place. Margaux Boyer finished fifth with two points at 2:31.63.
- Andres Santiago (58.46) and Carter Faas (1:01.74) finished second and third in the men's 400 hurdles.
- Carty won again in the women's 400 hurdles posting a 1:04.44.
- Castillo added another win to his day in the men's 200 dash. His time of 23.48 earned seven points.
- Nick Kidder (15:25.54) and Morgan McCuen (15:34.18) finished second and third in the men's 5000m.
- In the women's side of the 5000m Emma Leary, Erica Eastman and Ainsley Williams rounded out second through fourth place.

Morgan Doherty will head to Connecticut College on April 10-11 for multi-events at the Silfen Invitational. The rest of the Catamounts will participate in the UMass Commonwealth Invitational on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the UMass Track & Field Complex.
