BOSTON – Phoebe Koski set a new personal record in the 3000 meter run for the top finish by a Catamount in the Terrier Classic on Friday (Jan. 24) at Boston University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Koski registered a 14th-place finish with a blazing fast 3000 meter time of 9:44.49 to eclipse her previous personal record by 17.69 seconds. Sogoloff finished 33rd in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:00.42 while Meaghan Alba (66th) crossed in 10:19.2
- Curtis and Grasso ran in a pair of races together. Curtis finished 29th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.64 seconds and was 77th in the 200 meter dash (26.31s). Her 200m time was a new personal record. Grasso came in 63rd place in the 400 meter dash (59.64s) and 84th in the 200 meter dash (26.40s).
- O'Shea also recorded a high finish when she placed 15th in the 1000 meter run. The junior posted a time of 2:55.19 to beat 80 competitors.
- Dina John joined O'Shea in the 1000 meter run and logged a time of 3:03.06 for 41st place.
- In the mile, Leighton led the Catamounts with a time of 5:04.90 for 34th overall. Nagpaul closely followed in 37th place with a time of 5:06.56. Annemarie Martell finished in 74th place.
NOTES
- There were no team scores recorded in the Terrier Classic.

Vermont splits off into three meets on Saturday (Jan. 25), beginning with the Catamount men at the Terrier Classic. UVM also visits New Hampshire and Middlebury on Saturday. The meet at UNH begins at 12 p.m. and the Middlebury Invitational starts at 12:30 p.m.
