RALLY AGAINST CANCER PRESENTED BY INSIRED CLOSETS
Saturday's contest is UVM's annual Rally Against Cancer game presented by Inspired Closets. The Catamounts will be wearing special edition lavender jerseys that will be auctioned off at
UVMathletics.com/Auctions. The auction is open now and runs until Thursday (Jan. 30). The proceeds will benefit the University of Vermont Cancer Center. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender to support the cause.
COACHES VS. CANCER WEEK

John Becker and his coaching staff will be wearing sneakers as a part of Coaches vs. Cancer week. The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Since 1993, coaches have raised over $100 million for the American Cancer Society.
CATS THROUGH 20 GAMES
The Catamounts have produced their fourth consecutive 14-6 start or better through 20 games. Since the new millennium began, UVM has 11 14-6 starts under its belt with 10 postseason tournament appearances including six trips to the NCAA Tournament.

SCOUTING UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks have struggled since the calendar flipped to 2020 with two wins in their last five games. UML has the top scoring offense (76.1 ppg) and field-goal percentage in the league (45.9%). The River Hawks are led by a pair of guards in Christian Lutete and Obadiah Noel. Lutete boasts the highest scoring average (20.9) and field goal percentage (53.3%) in America East. The senior also ranks 10th nationally in total points, 12th in field goals made, and 16th in points per game. Noel sits second in the conference with a 50.2% field goal percentage and owns the fourth-best scoring average (17.7).
INSIDE THE SERIES
With the exception of a season sweep by the River Hawks in 2015-16, the Catamounts lead the all-time series 10-2. In the 10 victories, UVM has won by an average of 17.7 points per game. Last year, the Green and Gold posted a 74-65 victory in Lowell then rolled to a 74-57 win in Burlington.
