MEN'S HOCKEY NOTEBOOK
The Vermont Catamounts (3-12-2, 0-8-1 HEA) host the Yale Bulldogs (5-8-0, 4-6-0 ECAC) in a mid-week contest at Gutterson Fieldhouse Tuesday night.

The game is slated to begin at 7:05 p.m. and will stream through CBS All-Access and broadcast on WVMT with Michael Lehr on the call.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale enters Tuesday night with a 5-8-0 overall record and 4-6-0 ECAC mark. Yale most recently lost to New Hampshire, 4-1, and also fell to Hockey East opponent Boston College in November, 6-2. The Bulldogs defeated Maine, 3-1, in early December.

Junior Tyler Welsh leads the team with eight points. Sophomore Curtis Hall leads the team with six goals. Sophomore Jack St. Ivany leads the team with seven assists. Thirteen Bulldogs have three or more points in 2019-20.

Senior Corbin Kaczperski has started 10 games between the pipes. He holds a 3.05 goals against average and .893 save percentage.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Yale meet for the 61st time in series history Tuesday night at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The Catamounts hold a 26-29-5 all-time record and 14-13-2 record at the Gut.

The Cats are 5-4-1 in the last ten meetings with the Bulldogs. UVM took a 4-1 win over Yale in the first round of the 2009 NCAA East Regional in the most important game and lone postseason meeting in series history.

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH | Release
Jacques Bouquot earned Hockey East Rookie of the Month honors for December after a two goal and five-point month. In four games, Bouquot led the Catamounts with a plus-5 rating.

Senior goaltender
Stefanos Lekkas recently passed Rob Madore '12 for second-most saves in UVM history. The Elburn, Illinois native currently has 3,422 career saves and is 508 saves away from Tim Thomas '97.
