BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont Athletics annual fundraising campaign the Catamount Challenge kicks off Monday, October 19 and runs through Friday, October 23 at 12 p.m. This year as we #Rally4TheCats it's an opportunity to help off-set many costs that we are facing in the department and within programs due to COVID-19 adjustments.

Donations can be made at go.uvm.edu/gocats (all lower case) and all gifts will to go to an Excellence Fund for a specific UVM sport program, Athletic Performance or Campus Recreation.
 
This year we have also introduced the #Rally4TheCats category as a kick-off to various revenue generation activities through the semester and potentially academic year.  If supporters choose this campaign, the donations will go to the Victory Club fund to benefit overall department finances.

Donations are currently being matched by donors for five UVM programs: track and field, skiing, women's lacrosse, women's hockey and men's hockey. To setup a matching gift for your team contact Chris Bernier at chris.bernier@uvm.edu or 802-656-3910.
 
The following prizes will be awarded to Catamount teams at the end of the Challenge:

• $2,500 for most overall donors
• $1,500 for most dollars raised
• $1,000 for most alumni donors

Any gift of $5 or more to any program counts! Please note that gifts made during the Catamount Challenge are not eligible for Victory Club benefits.
