BOSTON – First-Year forward Anna Olson was named America East Rookie of the Week for the second straight week after the Catamounts weekend split at NJIT. The league made the announcement Tuesday evening following the rescheduled weekend game between New Hampshire and Hartford.

Olson posted a career-high 17 points on Sunday against the Highlanders. At one point in the third quarter she scored nine straight points for the Vermont as they rallied from behind. She also had seven rebounds, one block, one steal and an assist Sunday.
 
Yesterday she picked up seven points and dished out a career-high four assists as Vermont cruised to its largest road conference win since 2012. Olson leads all first-years in America East with 10.8 points-per game this season.
 
The Catamounts continue their road swing next weekend as they travel to face UAlbany in the New Year. Vermont is scheduled to face the Great Danes at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 2 and then again on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games from SEFCU Arena will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
