BOSTON – 112 Vermont student-athletes have been named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for the 2019-20 fall season. 78% of all Catamount student-athletes earned the honor by posting at least a 3.0 GPA in the classroom.

America East student-athletes continued to set new conference standards in the classroom. 74% (823) of those who competed in fall sports achieved Honor Roll status, while 512 of them earned Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction.
17 fall student-athletes including nine women's cross country teammates maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA – Dawson Adams, Autumn Albrecht, Ella Bankert, John Benner, Sophia Cheever, Andrew Crompton, Ross Elkort, Meara Heininger, Brooke Jenkins, Jennifer Ladd, Jane Leighton, Taryn Marra, Katherine Nolan, Bel Sogoloff, Alicia Tebeau-Sherry, Savanah Tebeau-Sherry and Konstanze Wendeln.
During the fall semester, all of UVM's student-athletes combined to achieve a school-record GPA of 3.297. It was the 33rd consecutive semester the department GPA has been above 3.0. For the athletics department, it was the 30th semester on record where student-athletes had a higher GPA than the general student population.
