BOSTON – Vermont women's track & field saw personal records and impressive runs in the Valentine Invite on Friday at Boston University. The meet was UVM's final tune-up before next week's America East Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Caroline O'Shea logged the Catamounts' top finish in the mile when she placed 65th with a time of 4:58.44. The junior clipped her previous personal-best time by 0.36 seconds.
- Lexi Sutyak placed 120th out of 255 with a personal-best time of 5:07.31. She improved on her previous mark by 4.23 seconds.
- Katie Nolan (145th) and Autumn Albrecht (157th) rounded out the Vermont runners in the mile with times of 5:12.16 and 5:14.14, respectively.
- Konstanze Wendeln ran a 3000 meter time of 9:56.19 for a new personal record and 89th place. The sophomore's time was 7.74 seconds faster than her previous mark.
- Sunny Nagpaul also ran a personal-best mark with a time of 10:03.04 for 91st in the 3000 meter run. The senior improved her personal record by 5.75 seconds.

The Vermont women return to action on Friday (Feb. 21) for Day 1 of the America East Championships. The indoor championships begin at 10 a.m. at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center.
