MEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOK
The Vermont Catamounts (0-1, 0-0 AE) host the Quinnipiac Bobcats (0-3, 0-0 MAAC) Saturday to begin a four-game homestand at Virtue Field.
 
Saturday's game is slated to begin at 12 p.m. and will stream through AmericaEast.tv with Jake Marsh on the call. Live stats are available through the UVMAthletics.com website.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
Quinnipiac enters this weekend's contest with a 0-3 overall record with losses to nationally-ranked Rutgers, UMass Lowell, and Brown. The 2019 Bobcats finished the year with a 9-7 overall record, ultimately falling to Marist in the MAAC Championship.
 
The Bobcats are led offensively by junior Jake Tomsik (4-4-8) and freshman John Delucia (7-0-7). Sophomore Nick DiMuccio has started all three games in goal and currently holds a 13.28 goals against average and a .547 save percentage. He has 47 saves in three games.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont holds a 7-2 all-time record against Quinnipiac in a series dating back to 2002. UVM has taken wins over Quinnipiac in each of the last two seasons.
 
LAST YEAR AT VIRTUE
Vermont defeated Quinnipiac 20-10 last February on Virtue Field. The Catamounts grabbed the lead early and took a 10-5 lead into the half.
 
Nick Washuta made seven saves before Matt Shaffer finished the game between the pipes. Jack Knight '19 scored a career-high four goals against the Bobcats.  Liam Limoges recorded his third consecutive four-point game.  
 
MULTI-GOAL DEBUTS
Thomas McConvey recorded his first hat trick of the 2020 season and third of his career in Vermont's season opener at Holy Cross. Liam Limoges recorded his first hat trick of the 2020 season and fifth of his career in Vermont's opener and Rob Hudson tallied two goals in Worcester.
