ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Vermont 200 medley relay and 800 free relay teams saw strong finishes in the second day of competition at the 2020 ECAC Championship at Navy Saturday.
Through two days of competition, Vermont is in 10th among 21 teams with 102 total points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200 medley relay team of Cailin Campbell, Beth Hartog, Katherine Morrissey, and Jenny O'Neil posted a time of 1:49.26 to break a UVM freshman record and take eighth in the morning's preliminary heat to qualify for the A Final.
- In the A Final of the 200 medley relay, Kira Parker, Savannah Buch, O'Neil, and Campbell finished eighth with a time of 1:49.35.
- Campbell posted a time of 1:53.46 to finish 11th and qualify for the evening's B Final. In the final heat, Campbell finished with a time of 1:53.16 to finish 12th overall.
- Kira Parker's time of 58.66 in the 100 back placed her 12th and earned a spot in the B Final. In that final, Parker touched the wall first in 58.27 to claim ninth overall.
- The 800 free relay team of Parker, Campbell, Katie Rivers, and Sophia Smith closed the second day of competition with a time of 7:39.69 to finish fifth.

The third and final day of the 2020 ECAC Championship begins tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Lejeune Hall on Navy's campus. The final heats are slated to begin at 4 p.m.
