ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Vermont Catamounts tallied 119 total points to finish 12th among 22 scoring teams at the 2020 ECAC Championship hosted by Navy.
Vermont sent just 11 student-athletes to the event, including seven freshmen.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Beth Hartog qualified for the 200 back A Final and finished seventh with a time of 2:04.05.
- Sophia Smith posted a time of 2:07.19 to take 13th in the 200 fly. Katie Rivers finished just behind in 15th with a time of 2:10.03.
- The 400 free relay team of Kira Parker, Sarah Doherty, Rivers, and Smith took eighth in the morning's preliminary round with a time of 3:38.84.
ECAC CHAMPIONSHIP NOTES
- Vermont set a pair of freshman program relay records in the three-day competition. Jenny O'Neil, Peyton McNulty, Cailin Campbell, and Katherine Morrissey set the freshman record in the 100 medley relay on Friday (3:57.04). On Saturday, Hartog, Morrissey, Campbell, and O'Neil posted a time of 1:49.26 to set a new record in the 200 medley relay.
