ST. LOUIS – UVM men's basketball senior forward
Anthony Lamb has earned U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-District I honors. The USBWA made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

The District I region consists of schools in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
Lamb receives his third career nod to the USBWA All-District I team after collecting the honor as a freshman and junior. He was chosen as the America East Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and ranked as one of the top scorers and rebounders in the league this year. The 6-6 forward has the fifth-best rebounding average (7.2) and seventh-highest scoring average (16.6) in the conference. The Rochester, New York native has scored double figures in 28 out of his 32 games played this season. He has recorded six double-doubles, which matched a his season high from a year ago.
He helped the Catamounts win their fourth straight outright America East regular season crown and became the ninth player in conference history to join the 1,800 point and 700 rebound club. The Cats have won 25 games in 2019-20 – tied for the third-most in school history.
Top-seeded Vermont will face fourth-seeded UMBC in the semifinal round of the 2020 Hercules Tires America East Tournament on Tuesday night (March 10).
