VESTAL, N.Y. – For the second time in three games, junior forward
Ryan Davis recorded a double-double with a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds as Vermont grabbed a 76-60 road win at Binghamton on Saturday afternoon. The Catamounts improve to 4-3 while the Bearcats fall to 1-9 overall and 1-6 in the league standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts did not waste any time building a big lead and jumped out to 15-4 lead six minutes into the game. Stef Smith hit a pair of triples and Davis made two layups to fuel the run.
- The Bearcats managed to draw within single digits five times over the following seven minutes. After Isaiah Powell drilled a mid-range jumper and Davis banked in a layup, Binghamton cut the margin to 28-23 with 5:44 left in the first half after canning two long-distance attempts.
- In the last two minutes of the period, the Catamounts scored eight of the final 10 points and went into the break with a 44-30 edge.
- UVM pushed its advantage to 61-40 with 12:21 left in the contest but Binghamton quickly trimmed the margin back to a 10-point game. The Bearcats put together a 13-2 run in a four-minute span and trailed 63-53 at the 7:28 mark.
- The Green and Gold regrouped and closed out the game with a 13-7 spurt. Davis was a key factor with six points down the stretch.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Davis made 11 of his 18 attempts from the floor and logged two steals. Davis' double-double was the fourth of his career.
- Smith had 16 points on 5-of-11 shooting and made three triples. He pulled down three boards and dished out on assist.
- Powell was right behind Smith with 14 points and five boards. The junior hit 6-of-10 attempts from the field and tallied five rebounds.
- Saturday's victory was Becker's 125th-career America East win. He reached 125 conference wins in 151 league games, tied for the fifth-quickest rate in NCAA history. Becker joins an elite group of coaches to accomplish the milestone - former Long Beach State and UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian (134 games in the Big West), Gonzaga's Mark Few (138 games in the WCC), Kentucky coaching legend Adolph Rupp (143 games in the SEC), Kansas' Bill Self (148 games in the Big XII), and former Princeton coach Pete Carril (151 games).
