SWIMMING AND DIVING NOTEBOOK
The Catamounts are back in the pool this weekend as they close out the first portion of their competitive schedule traveling to URI for the Three-Day Harold Anderson Invitational hosted on campus at the Tootell Aquatic Center.

On Friday and Saturday preliminary action will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by finals in the evening at 6 p.m. On Sunday, the prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m. with finals at 3 p.m. UVM's divers will compete in the 1m Friday and the 3m Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

The field this weekend includes URI, Maine, Holy Cross, Providence, Binghamton, Vermont and Roger Willams.

HOUSE AND PARKER LEAD CATAMOUNTS OVER MAINE

Jackie House each won two individual events for the Catamounts as UVM defeated Maine 162-135 on November 6. Parker has won two events in each of UVM's last two meets. She won the 100 and 200 back against the Black Bears. House won the 100 and 1000 free.

PAIR OF CAREER FIRSTS
Against Maine
Molly Williams and
Charlie Ramey earned the first wins of their career. Williams won the 500 free and Ramey won the 200 free for Vermont. So far, this season six Catamounts have earned their first career wins.

HOMECOMING FOR COACH COURNOYER
Head Coach
Gerry Cournoyer is from Cumberland, Rhode Island and was inducted into the Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame in 2006. He competed as a distance freestyle swimmer helping Cumberland High School to its fifth State Championship during his senior year.
FRESH FACES ON THE POOL DECK
18 of the Catamounts 41 student-athletes this year are first years at the University of Vermont including five divers.
