WOMEN'S HOCKEY NOTEBOOK
Vermont (4-6-1, 2-2-1 HEA) heads back out on the road this weekend as they visit Merrimack (4-9-1, 4-5-1 HEA) for a two-game set. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday from Lawler Rink. Both games will be broadcast live for free at CollegeSportsLive.

MLÝNKOVÁÂ LEADS CATAMOUNTS OFFENSIVE ATTACK
Sophomore forwardÂ
Natálie Mlýnková leads the Catamounts in scoring with four goals and four assists this season. She is fourth on the team with 25 shots this season despite missing the last three games for Olympic qualifying. She scored the game-winning goal in the third period for Vermont against Merrimack in October.

The Catamounts own the nation's 10th ranked penalty kill this season, boasting a 90.0% success rate. Vermont has only allowed three goals while shorthanded this season, and has scored once while on the penalty kill –Â
Natálie Mlýnková against RPI (Oct. 2). The 2018-19 Catamounts finished the season with the nation's top penalty kill at 87.4%.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
Since falling 2-1 at Gutterson Fieldhouse on October 24 Merrimack has been on an impressive run. They reeled off four straight wins over UConn, Maine, Holy Cross and UNH in league play. Junior goaltender Emma Gorski posted a career-high 51 saves in Merrimack's 3-0 win at UConn. In their last contest Merrimack fell 2-1 at UNH on November 13.

Junior forward Katie Kaufman leads the team in scoring with seven goals and three assists for 10 points. She has four goals and one assist in her last three games.

SERIES HISTORY
This weekend will be the 17th and 18th all-time meeting between the Catamounts and Warriors. After the Catamounts win in October the series is even at 7-7-2. The Catamounts have earned eight of a possible nine points against Merrimack in their last four meetings.

CZECH CATAMOUNTS QUALIFY FOR THE 2022 OLYMPICS
Sammy Kolowrat '19, Natálie Mlynková and Tynka Pátková qualified for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics last weekend in Chomutov, Czech Republic. The Czechs went 3-0 in Group C to qualify defeating Poland, Hungary and Norway. Kolowrat scored two goals in the three games, Mlynková posted one goal and three assists and Pátková posted an assist.
