KINGSTON, R.I. – Vermont's 800 free relay team of
Mina Poppas,
Cailin Campbell,
Charlie Ramey and
Jackie House set a new Tootell Aquatic Center record winning the event with a time of 7:32.55. The Catamounts also won two individual events on the second day of the Harold Andersen Invitational Saturday. Vermont sits in second place with 548 points, just 17 points back from the host URI.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Poppas, Campbell, Ramey and House won the 800 free relay by 10.26 seconds over Binghamton.
- The Catamounts B relay team in the 800 free also rewrote the record book. Ella Church, Emily Rocco, Emily Rygula and Madison Supple set a new UVM first year record with a time of 7:44.16. It was the third fastest time amongst all the schools in the event.
- Poppas also won the 200 free Saturday for the Catamounts. She finished in a time of 1:50.86 earning 20 team points for UVM. House placed second in the event with a time of 1:51.32.
- For the third time this season Hally Laney claimed the 100 fly for the Catamounts. She finished in a season-best time of 56.81 defeating Roger Williams Noelle Schneider by .09 seconds.

WHO'S NEXT
The final day of the Harold Anderson Invitational begins Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Tootell Aquatic Center. Teams will compete in the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 400 free relay and the 1,650 frees.
