BOSTON – Vermont forward and reigning America East Player of the Year
Ryan Davis has been named Player of the Week by the conference. The league announced its weekly awards on Monday.

Davis averaged 23 points and nine rebounds in Vermont's two home victories last week. The senior led the Catamounts with a career-high 28 points on 13-of-21 shooting to beat WPI 81-48 on Tuesday (Nov. 16). The 13 field goals made were also a career high for Davis.
The forward also paced the Vermont offense in a 61-53 victory over Yale on Friday (Nov. 19). Davis was 5-for-19 from the field, but tallied 18 points against the Bulldogs for the win at Patrick Gym. The senior made a career-high 7-of-9 free throw attempts and swatted away a career-high four blocks.
Vermont (3-1) begins the Gulf Coast Showcase on Monday (Nov. 22) when it faces Oakland (2-2) in Estero, Florida. Tip-off is slated for 1:30 p.m. at Hertz Arena. The Gulf Coast Showcase will broadcast live on
