BOSTON – The Vermont men's basketball game scheduled for Sunday (Dec. 19) at Northeastern has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 test results within the Northeastern program. Northeastern Athletics made the announcement on Saturday morning.
 
Vermont Athletics and all of its teams continue to follow state, local and University public health guidelines, to ensure the health and safety of all student-athletes, coaches, staff and the campus and surrounding community.
 
The Catamounts return to action on Wednesday (Dec. 22) when they host Colgate at Patrick Gym. The non-conference finale is slated for 2 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at UVMathletics.com/Tickets. Wednesday's game will broadcast live on ESPN3. Fans can listen for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield IMG College on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available online at Catamounts All-Access with Brian McLaughlin on the call.
