BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Cleveland Monsters announced Sunday afternoon that Vermont forward
Tristan Mullin has signed an amateur tryout contract with the American Hockey League club. The Monsters are the AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Tristan Mullin came to UVM as an accomplished player as well as being a tremendous leader," said Head Coach
Todd Woodcroft. "His impact on our program will be felt for years. His preparation for each game and his daily practice habits will be the benchmark for future Catamounts. We were fortunate to have his presence in our locker room and will be cheering for him for the rest of his career."
In 11 games this season Mullin was tied for the team lead in scoring with four goals. He notched four goals and one assist in the green and gold. The Catamounts Hockey East Opening Round contest against UMass Lowell was his 100th career collegiate game. In 100 games with Cornell and UVM he registered 25 goals and 29 assists for 54 points.
Mullin will look to be the third Catamount to debut in the AHL this month. On Friday night
Stefanos Lekkas '20 made his AHL debut with the Rochester Americans making 25 saves in a 4-3 OT loss.
Bryce Misley '21 signed an ATO with the Iowa Wild on March 13 and has seen game action twice since arriving in Iowa.
