LAST TIME OUT
Vermont played its most complete offensive game of the season but UMass Lowell left the Green Mountain State with a 2-1 victory in a shootout on Wednesday.
Kate Hall scored her second goal of the season on an assist from
Sydney Melfi and
Sierra Espeland made a season-high eight saves in the setback. UVM had nine penalty corners to UMass Lowell's three.

Despite scoring just one goal against UMass Lowell on Wednesday, Vermont peppered the UMass Lowell cage with 17 shots on goal. The Cats had 13 shots on goal entering Wednesday's action.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
UNH comes in to Saturday's matchup with a 4-4 record but just 1-3 in conference play. Most recently, the Wildcats dropped a 4-2 decision to Maine last Sunday. UNH boasts the conference's top offense with 16 goals this season powered by Ava Mariani who has six goals. Nikki Tredwell and Jemma Woods have split time in cage and the tandem has held opponents to 1.38 goals per game.

INSIDE THE MATCHUP
Wednesday will be the 43
rd all-time meeting between the Catamounts and Wildcats with UNH holding a 35-7 lead. Vermont has won two of the last four games including a 1-0 double-overtime victory in 2018 in Burlington. UNH took last year's meeting by a final of 2-1.
