Emily Murphy led the Catamounts at the 2021 America East Diving Championships placing second overall and earning All-Conference honors in the one-meter competition Sunday morning at the Saunders Aquatic Center at Binghamton University.

Murphy was the runner-up this morning with a final score of 266.35. Her second-place finish matched her career-best at the America East Championship.
Chloe Smith finished in tenth place for UVM with a mark of 182.25.
Taylor Nguyen placed 13th overall with a score of 152.40. Binghamton's Sophia Howard was the top finisher with a mark of 266.35.
On Saturday Murphy paced the Catamounts with a fifth-place finish in the three-meter with a score of 222.05. First year
Chloe Smith earned a seventh-place finish in her championship debut with a mark of 202.20. Nguyen placed 14th with a score of 145.05. Binghamton's Howard also won the three-meter competition.
The swimming portion of the 2021 America East Championships will be held next weekend Friday through Saturday (April 23-25) at the NJIT Wellness and Events Center. The scores of the diving meet will be added to next week's events for team scoring. Streaming information for the championship weekend at NJIT will be announced later this week.
