BURLINGTON, Vt. – Head coach
Kate Pfeifer unveiled the fall 2021 schedule for the UVM field hockey program Friday afternoon.
The Catamounts will play 18 games – ten of which are at home – in the first full season since 2019.

- Vermont kicks off the regular season the last weekend in August with back-to-back games in Syracuse, N.Y. against Sacred Heart (Aug. 28) and the Orange (Aug. 29).
- The Cats play the first of ten home games at Moulton Winder Field - the most since 2018 - on Sept. 5 when Holy Cross pays a visit to Burlington.
- On Sept. 18, Vermont travels to Dartmouth for a rivalry matchup with the Big Green. With the exception of the abridged 2021 spring season, UVM and Dartmouth have played every season since 1989.
- America East Conference play gets underway on Friday Sept. 24 when two-time defending conference champion Stanford comes to town.
- A major highlight of the schedule is four straight home games from Oct. 8 to Oct. 22. That stretch features games against UC Davis, California, Maine and New Hampshire.
The fall of 2021 will be the 43
rd season of Vermont Field Hockey dating back to 1979.
