BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont athletic department has announced its gameday promotions for the 2021 fall schedule. The promotions will take place at Virtue Field for men's and women's soccer games, and Moulton Winder Field for field hockey.

The promotional schedule kicks off on Tuesday, September 21 when men's soccer hosts Siena on Military Appreciation Night presented by Milton CAT, and to benefit the
Josh Pallotta Fund. The Josh Pallotta Fund was created by a group of Veterans, family, and community members in memory of Joshua R. Pallotta. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Veterans and Service Members by combining local and national resources, emergency services, and research to provide Veterans the resiliency, transition and reintegration tools to help them sustain or return to full and healthy lives. JoshPallottaFund.org. Women's soccer will host UMass Lowell on Sunday, October 17 for Military Appreciation Day, which will happen once again on October 22 when field hockey faces New Hampshire on Moulton Winder Field.
On Sunday, September 26, women's soccer will be in the annual Rally Against Cancer Game, which will benefit the University of Vermont Cancer Center. The matchup with Stony Brook at noon will also be Poster Day presented by UVM Print & Mail. At 3 p.m., field hockey's will host UAlbany in the Rally Against Cancer Game.
October 2 will be the start of the Morgan Stanley Peter Baldwin Community Youth Soccer Weekend. Men's Soccer will host UMBC at 11 a.m. A youth soccer group will walk out with the team prior to the game and the number 11 will be worn to honor Peter. Following the game, young fans will be able to "Kick with the Cats" on Virtue Field. The Morgan Stanley Peter Baldwin Community Youth Soccer Weekend will continue on Sunday, October 3 with women's soccer hosting Stony Brook at 11 a.m. Young fans will also be able to "Kick with the Cats" following Sunday's game.
Field hockey will host UC Davis in the Spread Respect Game on Friday, October 8 at 2 p.m. Spread Respect is an America East initiative encouraging all to spread respect by insuring equality and safety for all coaches, students, and fans without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Later that weekend on October 10, Vermont will host California on Poster Day, courtesy of UVM Print & Mail. After the game, young fans can "Pass with the Cats" on Moulton Winder Field.
Men's soccer's promotional schedule will continue on October 13 when it hosts Hartford in the Rally Against Cancer Game. The Wednesday night conference matchup will also be the Spread Respect Game.
On October 15, fans at the Vermont field hockey game against Maine will have the opportunity to receive free swag in the Redstone Swag Toss.
Vermont women's soccer will also have Senior Day, presented by the UVM Alumni Association, on October 17.
The following day at Virtue Field will be the Redstone Swag Toss, which will take place in men's soccer's 2 p.m. meeting with UAlbany. The Saturday afternoon America East matchup will also be Senior Day, presented by UVM Alumni Association, for the Catamounts.
Women's soccer will host New Hampshire on October 28 in the Spread Respect Game. The 4 p.m. matchup at Virtue Field will also be the Redstone Swag Toss.
Concluding the UVM Athletics fall promotional schedule will be the field hockey's Senior Day, presented by the UVM Alumni Association, on October 31 at 12 p.m.
