BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont men's basketball team has released the non-conference portion of its 31-game regular season schedule for the 2021-22 season. The announcement was made on Tuesday afternoon. Season tickets are available for the 2021-22 men's basketball campaign and can be reserved now by calling 802-656-4410 or by visiting

The Patrick Gym doors will open up to fans for the first time since March 10, 2020 when the Catamounts host St. Michael's for an exhibition game on October 30. Vermont will then host St. Anselm for a final exhibition game on November 6. Both games are slated to begin at 2 p.m. on Tom Brennan Court.
Vermont's regular season begins with a two-game road trip, starting at Northern Iowa on November 11. The season opener will be the first ever meeting between the two mid-major programs.
The Catamounts then travel to Maryland to face the Terrapins on Saturday, November 13 in College Park. The Terps were picked No. 11 in USA Today's "Way-to-Early Men's Preseason Top 25".
Vermont returns to Patrick Gym for a pair of home games. The Catamounts host Worcester Polytechnic on November 16 to open the home slate. UVM then hosts Yale on November 19 for the 32nd meeting in series history.
UVM will play in the
Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida for the first time since 2016, when Vermont finished second after suffering a 72-71 loss to Houston in the championship game. The Catamounts will open the showcase against Oakland on November 22 at 1:30 p.m. The Gulf Coast Showcase continues on November 23 and 24, opponents are to be determined.
The Catamounts will make a stop at UNCG on their way home with a Saturday afternoon matchup on November 27. Vermont and the defending SoCon Champions last met in 2019 in Burlington.
Vermont will then host cross-state rival Dartmouth at Patrick Gym on December 1 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be the 107th all-time meeting between the Catamounts and Big Green.
UVM heads back on the road for three straight games away from Patrick Gym. The Catamounts begin the road trip with Big East foe Providence on December 7 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. Vermont then faces Brown on December 10. A trip to Northeastern on December 19 will cap off the final non-conference road trip of the regular season.
Vermont closes out the non-conference schedule on December 22 when it hosts defending Patriot League Champions Colgate at Patrick Gym.
