Postgame – Coach Woodcroft
COACH'S QUOTE
"We were happy with a large part of our game," Head Coach
Todd Woodcroft said. "We put chanced them, our defensive zone exits and neutral zone play were good our faceoff's were good and our young players continue to earn more minutes. Even when our young players get scored on, we will put them back out again so they gain experience. We will continue to play them so that they get games under their belts. Where we struggled tonight was on our specialty teams, which have been good this season. We continue to have a hard time scoring."
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Jordan Harris opened the scoring for the Huskies 6:14 into the first period. In transition Jeremie Bucheler found Harris at the top of the right faceoff circle and he wired his third goal of the season over Vermont's Gabe Carriere.
- Midway through the second period Northeastern's leading scorer Aidan McDonough doubled the Huskies advantage on the power play. After a quick zone entry McDonough was able to snap a shot home from just inside the slot.
- Sam Colangelo added an insurance marker for the Huskies 7:15 into the final frame. With speed in transition Northeastern's Ty Jackson skated along the outside before cutting along the goal line and feeding a pass to Colangelo that he one-timed home for his fifth goal of the season.
- Northeastern's Justin Hryckowian closed out the scoring for the Huskies on the power play with 3:50 left in regulation. From right in front of the net Hryckowian deflected Gunnarwolfe Fontaine's point shot in for his fourth goal of the season.
