BOSTON – Emma Utterback garnered America East Player of the Week honors following a 3-0 week which saw the Catamounts defeat Army and earn the TD Bank Classic Championship for the first time since 2011. This is Utterback's first nod of the season and fifth throughout her career.

Utterback helped lead the Catamounts to a perfect 3-0 week which saw her average 14.7 points, 4.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. She also shot 57.1 percent from beyond the arc and 40.0 percent from the field across those three games.
Vermont started the week against Army where Utterback scored a week-low eight points but still contributed to the victory registering a team-high three steals to go with three assists, two rebounds and a block, while drawing five fouls to help UVM secure the 60-37 home victory.
Utterback helped lead Vermont to their first TD Bank Classic Championship since 2011 dispatching Stonehill 70-48 and outbattling Siena 57-51. Utterback was named Tournament MVP and garnered All-Tournament Team honors averaging 18.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game while also drawing 14 fouls across two games and knocking down 7-14 free throws. Utterback finished her strong week with a 20 point, five assist, four rebound game against Siena to help Vermont clinch the TD Bank Classic Championship on Sunday afternoon.
