WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont (15-10, 9-5) returns to Patrick Gym Wednesday evening as they host New Hampshire (6-17, 3-9) in the Catamounts annual Rally Against Cancer Game at 6 p.m. The action will air live on ESPN+ with Rob Ryan and Bernie Cieplicki on the call. Fans can also listen live with Cooper Boardman on the call on AM 620 WVMT.
Vermont student-athletes will be wearing special edition jerseys that will be auctioned online at
uvmathletics.com/auctions starting at tip off. Proceeds will benefit the University of Vermont Cancer Center.

THREE STARTERS IN DOUBLE FIGURES
Three of Vermont's four starters who have started every game this season –
Emma Utterback (12.0 PPG),
Josie Larkins (11.6 PPG) and
Anna Olson (12.0 PPG) are leading the Catamounts all scoring in double figures. All three of them play an average of 30.0 minutes or more per game. One of the three of them has led UVM in scoring in 20 of its 23 games this season and each of the last nine games. On Monday afternoon, Larkins and Utterback led the team in scoring with 17 points apiece.
LARKINS HAVING A CAREER-YEAR FROM DOWNTOWN
Larkins is 24th in the NCAA with 63 made three-pointers this season. She is shooting 39.5 percent from downtown which is 52nd in the country. She has made 223 career three-pointers which ranks second all-time at UVM. In games where Larkins hits three or more three-pointers in a game UVM is 8-2 this season.
UTTERBACK LEADING THE OFFENSE
Junior guard
Emma Utterback is second in America East this season with 94 assists. She averages 3.8 per game. Her assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.96 this season which ranks 51st in the NCAA.
ALL STARTS ON THE DEFENSIVE END
UVM is second in America East and 12th in the NCAA on the defensive end this season giving up 53.8 points per game. In the Catamounts 15 wins this year they've given up just 47.1 points per game. Vermont is also second in America East averaging 3.8 blocked shots per game. UVM forward
Anna Olson is second in the league averaging 1.2 blocks per game.
CATAMOUNTS BACK TO THEIR WINNING WAYS
With four games left in the regular season Vermont has reached 15 regular season wins for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign. UVM also has nine conference wins which is their best conference mark since the same season. UVM hasn't been above .500 in a full conference season since the 2009-10 campaign either.
SCOUTING UNH
The Wildcats enter Wednesday's contest on their first two-game conference winning streak of the season. Last Saturday UNH defeated Binghamton 54-51 and then on Monday night the Wildcats bested Hartford 61-59. Graduate guard Amanda Torres scored the game-winning layup for UNH with 11 seconds to go in the game. Monday's win was New Hampshire's first of the season on the road this year, they are now 1-10 away from Durham.
Torres is the Wildcats leading scorer this season with 11.0 points per game. She's averaging 13.6 points per game in UNH's six wins this season. Against Vermont on January 5 she was the only UNH player to reach double figures and scored 12 of the Wildcats' 37 points.
UNH leads the conference with 8.9 steals per game. The Wildcats average 18.5 turnovers per game and in conference play their 222 turnovers is the second-highest in the league.
SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday will be the 87th meeting between the Catamounts and Wildcats. Vermont leads the all-time series 46-40. Vermont has won eight of the last 11 games. Under Mayer Women's Basketball Coach

On January 5, the Catamounts posted the biggest win at UNH in program history beating the Wildcats by 23 points in a 60-37 decision. Vermont made nine three-pointers in that contest, including six in the first half.
SENIOR NIGHT NEXT WEDNESDAY
Next Wednesday the Catamounts will host Binghamton in their final regular season home game. UVM and the Bearcats will tip off at 6 p.m. It will be Senior Night presented by the UVM Alumni Association and UVM will honor its seniors in a pregame ceremony.
