DURHAM, N.H. – Ava Vasile notched a career-high six goals to lead Vermont (10-3, 3-2 AE) to a 14-12 victory over New Hampshire (6-7, 1-3 AE) on Saturday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium. With the victory, UVM clinched an America East Playoff berth for the second consecutive season. The Catamounts become the third team in program history to reach the 10-win mark.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UVM grabbed a 3-1 lead after yielding the game's first goal to Emily Curtis 1:26 into the contest. Vermont countered with a trio of goals from Vasile, including a pair of free-position tallies. New Hampshire closed out the first quarter with three-straight goals for a 4-3 lead.
- Allie Connerty extended the UNH lead to two goals with a woman-up goal 2:01 in to the second quarter. Taylor Mullen sparked a three-goal run shortly after as Vermont took a 6-5 lead with 5:10 left in the second half. Curtis briefly tied the game at six apiece, but Dani Paterno scored a woman-down goal with 0:32 to play in the half for a 7-6 lead at the break.
- New Hampshire quickly erased the deficit and added two more goals in a 3-0 run to open the second half. The Catamounts responded with four-straight goals to go up 11-9 with a quarter to play. Kendall Traveis registered the go-ahead goal in the third quarter, scoring a free-position marker with 4:58 left on the clock.
- The Wildcats tied the game, once again with a two-goal start to the fourth quarter. Delaney Pratt netted the equalizer with 12:12 remaining in regulation. Meaghan O'Connor put the Catamounts back in front with 11:07 left, and Vasile added to the lead 1:18 later. Mackenzie MacEachern briefly cut the UVM lead down to one, before Vasile's insurance marker with 5:00 remaining.

- Vasile notched six of her goals on 10 shots, including nine directed on net. The junior added an assist for her second consecutive seven-point outing.
- Mullen recorded a hat trick on four shots. The senior posted her fourth three-goal outing of the season.
- Grace Giancola also had a multi-point game with one goal and one assist. The UVM midfielder also picked up a team-high two ground balls.
- Sophie McLaughlin (3 saves) and Jackie Shipp (4 saves) split time in goal for the Catamounts.
