HANOVER, N.H. – Vermont (11-3, 3-2 AE) moved into second on the program's all-time wins list with a 14-3 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday night at Scully-Fahey Field. The Catamounts are one win away from tying the single-season program record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts grabbed a 2-0 lead after the first quarter with a pair of goals by Ava Vasile. The junior netted her first goal on a free-position shot 6:41 into the game and added her second 2:20 later.
- Dani Paterno extended the UVM lead to 3-0, 46 seconds into the second frame on an assist from Riley Halloran. Anna Griffith cut the deficit for Dartmouth with 7:37 left in the half. Vermont responded with three straight goals to close out the frame and take a 6-1 halftime lead.
- Katie Elders snapped the UVM scoring streak with a goal 3:34 into the second half. The Catamounts once again countered, scoring five unanswered goals in the third quarter. Grace Giancola struck twice for Vermont, with goals coming from Vasile, McKenzie Ballard, and Meghan O'Connor as well.
- Kerry Gerety and Halloran extended the UVM lead to 11 with two quick goals in the fourth quarter. A Dartmouth goal with 6:58 to play ended the seven-goal scoring run for the Catamounts. Paterno then added her hat trick marker with 1:37 remaining.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Vasile registered a game-high four points on three goals and one assist. The junior tallied five shots, picked up one ground ball, and caused one turnover.
- Patarno recorded her first hat trick of the season, converting on all three shots directed on goal.
- Giancola also picked up three points with two goals and one assist. The UVM captain scored on both of her shots, and recorded two draw controls.
- O'Connor (2 goals) and Halloran (1 goal, 1 assist) rounded out the Catamounts with multi-point outings.
- Sophie McLaughlin recorded seven saves in goal for Vermont. The senior's .700 save percentage is her highest of the season.
