BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont men's hockey program is proud to announce our newest addition to the coaching staff, former captain
Brendan Bradley '17. Bradley played for the Catamounts from 2013-2017 and will be returning to the green and gold, this time as a volunteer assistant coach.

"A goal of this coaching staff is to develop deeper ties with the alumni," said Head Coach
Todd Woodcroft. "When we started our search for an assistant coach, we were clear in our mandate that the candidate should have coached played hockey at a high level.  With Brendan, not only did he check those boxes, but he was a four-year player for the Catamounts and served the team as a captain. We are excited for all that Brendan will bring to UVM Hockey."

Following graduation Bradley had a successful pro career in the AHL and ECHL. Since his retirement from his playing, Bradley has been coaching in Pennsylvania in the prestigious Flyers Elite program.  He has also served as an assistant coach at King's College and with Holy Ghost Prep.

In his UVM career Bradley played in 147 games, he had 20 points or more in all four of his seasons in Catamount Country. In total, he picked up 31 goals and 54 assists for 85 points. As a first year the Catamounts won 20 games and earned a berth into the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history. As a sophomore Bradley had two goals and an assist in the Hockey East Quarterfinals as UVM defeated Boston College on the road in a three-game series to advance to TD Garden and the Hockey East Championship weekend for the third time in program history. In his senior campaign, he served as captain of the Catamounts. In November of 2016 the Catamounts won the Belpot Championship in Northern Ireland defeating No. 3 Quinnipiac 5-1.
