America East Announces 2022-23 Men's Basketball Conference Schedule

BOSTON – The America East Conference announced the 2022-23 league schedule on Tuesday morning. Season tickets for the 2022-23 campaign are available and can be reserved now by calling 802-656-4410 or by visiting UVMathletics.com/Tickets.

  • Vermont will begin its quest for its seventh-straight regular season title on Dec. 31 when it visits UMBC in Baltimore. The opener will be the first meeting between the conference foes since last year's 82-43 victory over the Retrievers in the 2022 America East Championship Game.
  • The Catamounts will welcome America East newcomer Bryant to Patrick Gym on Jan. 5 for the first home game in league play. The Bulldogs were Northeast Conference Champions in 2022 with a 22-10 (15-2 NEC) mark.
  • UVM makes stops at New Hampshire (Jan. 8) and UMass Lowell (Jan. 11) before returning home for two games against Maine (Jan. 19) and NJIT (Jan. 22). The matchup with NJIT will be a rematch of last year's quarterfinal, which Vermont took 98-59.
  • The America East Semifinal rematch with Binghamton will take place on Jan. 25 in Vestal, N.Y. The Catamounts will host the Bearcats on Feb. 22.
  • Vermont will cap off its conference slate on Feb. 28 when it hosts UAlbany at 7 p.m. on Tom Brennan Court.
  • The 2023 America East Tournament will begin with the quarterfinal round on Mar. 4, followed by the semifinal round on Mar. 7. The league's championship game will take place on Mar. 11. All tournament games will be played at the higher seed.
