Crompton raced to a second-place finish to headline Vermont cross country in its season-opening meet Saturday at Hard'Ack Recreation Area in St. Albans. Crompton and the UVM men finished third in the team competition with a score of 56 points. His second-place finish came with a time of 25:31.90 to lead the Catamounts
The Vermont women's cross country team returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 10) for the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational at Dartmouth. The meet kicks off at 10:30 a.m. in Hanover, N.H. The UVM men will be back in action on Sept. 23 at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown hosted at Franklin Park.
