Vermont (8-8, 4-3 AE) wraps up the regular season with a visit from Albany (11-5, 6-1 AE) on Friday (Oct. 27). The game will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV.

PROMOTIONS
Friday will be Senior Day, presented by UVM Health Advantage. The Catamounts will honor Ally Kennedy, Theresa Schmus, Haley Buffenbarger, and Maddie Moran for all they have done for the program.

LAST TIME OUT
Vermont faced Maine and Colgate this past weekend and came away with two victories. On Friday, the Catamounts defeated Maine, 2-1, to clinch a playoff berth for the second straight year. Lilly Leiprecht and Alina Gerke both scored in the victory. On Sunday, Vermont defeated Colgate, 5-1. Leiprecht, Gerke, Lotte Kanters, Reggie Hillery, and Sophia Lefranc scored in the victory. Lauren Schellhamer recorded assists in both victories, and Meg Weyer recorded an assist.

LEIPRECHT COLLECTS WEEKLY AWARD
For the first time this season, the Catamounts received a weekly award, with Leiprecht earning Rookie of the Week for her two goals over the weekend.

FOUR TIMES THE CHARM
Vermont is 21-0 when scoring at least four goals under head coach Pfeifer. The Cats have accomplished the feat 16 times since the 2019 season.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
Albany enters Friday's matchup second in America East. Last week, the Great Danes defeated New Hampshire 3-1 and Lehigh 4-0. The Great Danes were picked to finish first in the America East Preseason Poll after posting a 16-5 (6-2 AE) record in 2022. Allison Smisdom leads the team in scoring with 17 goals and 40 points. Her 17 goals are seventh in the country, and her 40 points rank sixth. Mara Kuskes and Floor de Ruiter have recorded 15 and 13 points each. Goalkeeper Lara Behn has an 8-2 record in 15 appearances and a 1.48 goals-against-average.

SERIES HISTORY
The Catamounts and Great Danes have played 30 times, with Albany holding a 25-5 advantage in the series. The most recent matchup went the way of the Great Danes last year when they won 2-1 in double overtime. Vermont's previous win in the series came in 2008 when they won 2-1.
