WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
The Catamounts (6-5, 0-0 AE) will face Duquesne (6-3, 1-0 AE) at Patrick Gym in their annual Youth Day presented by Healthy Living on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

The Catamounts matchup with the Dukes will be broadcast live on
ESPN+. Fans can also listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield on WVMT, which will air on 96.3 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 620 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the

YOUTH DAY PRESENTED BY HEALTHY LIVING
Saturday's matchup with Duquesne will be the Catamounts annual Youth Day presented by Healthy Living. All kids 12 and younger will receive a complimentary ticket upon arrival,
while supplies last. A variety of activities including a bounce house, arts and crafts, dress like a Catamount, and an air brush tattoo station will be available as well as a Healthy Living kid's giveaway table. These activities will begin at 1 p.m. in the MAC Court located on the west side of Patrick Gym.
AMONG THE BEST IN THE AMERICA EAST
Vermont currently leads all America East teams in points per game allowed at 51.1. The Catamounts are also third in scoring margin at +3.5 per game while also ranking second in opponent field goal percentage at 36.8 percent per contest. UVM also ranks third among America East teams surrendering just 26.8 percent from beyond the arc this season.
Emma Utterback is third in the conference in scoring at 14.7 points per game, while also being tied for second in assists per game (4.0) and seventh in field goal percentage (44.9%).
Anna Olson leads America East play in field goal percentage at 58.7 percent per game and is 13th in scoring at 10.4 per contest. She also ranks 14th in the conference in rebounds per game at 5.6 per contest.
Delaney Richason is tied for third in the conference with 1.2 blocks per game and is third in total blocks at 13.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Catamounts are currently ranked in the top 100 nationally in points per game allowed opponent three point and field goal percentage and assist to turnover ratio. Vermont ranks ninth in scoring defense, 76th in opponent field percentage and 63rd in opponent three point percentage. UVM also ranks 75th in assist to turnover ratio. Olson's shooting percentage is good for 29th in the country and Utterback is tied for 126th in assists per game.
SCOUTING THE DUKES
Duquesne enters Saturday's matchup with a 6-3 record overall and are 1-0 in Atlantic 10 play. The Dukes are averaging 70.7 points per game on 39.4 percent shooting from the floor and 36.1 percent from deep. On the season, Duquesne is surrendering 68.4 points per game on 37.0 shooting from the floor and 36.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The Dukes are led by junior Nae Bernard who is averaging 12.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest. Classmate Megan McConnell leads the Dukes in rebounding and passing with 8.2 boards and 4.8 assists per contest. McConnell is also second on the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game. Tess Myers leads the Dukes with 30 three pointers made on 41.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Myer is averaging 11.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Dukes.
INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be the second all-time matchup between the Dukes and the Catamounts with Duquesne holding a 1-0 advantage. This will be the first matchup between the two teams at Patrick Gym. The first time these two teams met was on December 10 last season in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where the Dukes came away with a 56-54 home win. Utterback and
Catherine Gilwee led all scorers with 17 points apiece in that matchup while Richason added a team-high nine rebounds with seven points and one block. Precious Johnson scored 17 for the Dukes in that matchup while McConnell grabbed down a game-high 12 boards to go along with four points and three assists. Vermont shot 35.2 percent from the field in that game while holding Duquesne to just 31.3 percent.

Following Saturday's matchup with the Dukes the Catamounts will host Sacred Heart at Patrick Gym on Wednesday (Dec. 20) in their Company Outing Day. That game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans can also listen to the game for free on the
