BOSTON – America East has announced that Vermont's home matchup versus conference rival UMBC on Jan. 11 will be nationally televised on ESPNU. The opening tip is slated for 7 p.m. ET. The Catamounts host the league's yearly ESPNU game for the third consecutive season.
ESPNU is located on DirecTV channel 208, Dish Network channel 141, and Xfinity channel 822 for local viewers. ESPNU is also available on streaming platforms such as YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, Sling, and others. Fans can also access ESPNU on the ESPN app by logging in with their television provider. The Catamounts and Retrievers have met 13 times in the previous five seasons with four of those meetings coming in the America East Tournament. Vermont and UMBC have squared off in three championship games since during that stretch. UVM is 20-4 all-time against UMBC in Patrick Gym.
