THE OUTRIGHT TITLE
Vermont can clinch the America East Regular Season Title outright with a win over Binghamton. UVM grabbed a share of the title for the seventh-consecutive season with a win on Saturday at NJIT. The seven-year streak is the second-longest active streak in the country, behind only Gonzaga, who has won 10-straight WCC Regular Season Titles. Gonzaga is currently No. 2 in the WCC standings with two games remaining.
Â
W9
The Catamounts have won nine-straight games, which is the fifth-longest active streak in the country. Vermont has outscored opponents 80.1-64.7 (+15.4) in its nine victories, while making 50.8% of their field goal attempts, and averaging 16.7 assists.
Finn Sullivan has averaged 18.6 points per game during the winning streak, which ranks No. 2 in America East during that stretch
Â
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton has earned wins in three of its last five games and sits at No. 3 in the America East standings. The Bearcats are 0.5 game behind No. 2 UMass Lowell. Binghamton suffered an 84-70 loss in Lowell on Feb. 18. Jacob Falko leads the Bearcats with 13.6 points per game and 3.7 assists per game. Armon Harried (12.5 ppg), Miles Gibson (10.5 ppg), and Dan Petcash (10.0 ppg) also average double figures. Petcash leads conference play with a 56.0 field goal percentage and a 50.8 three-point percentage.
Â
INSIDE THE SERIES

Finn Sullivan led the Catamounts with 20 points in Vermont's 80-55 victory over Binghamton earlier this season.
Â
FAMILIAR FOE
Vermont and Binghamton meet for the 12th time in the last five seasons UVM has earned victories in each of the previous 11 games. The Catamounts and Bearcats have squared off twice in the America East Semifinals (2019, 2022) during that stretch.
Â
