MEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOK
The Vermont men's lacrosse continues its tour through the Ivy League when it heads back out the road tomorrow for a matchup with the Harvard Crimson.
All the action gets underway at 4:30 p.m. from Jordan Field. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

LAST TIME OUT
The Catamounts dropped a 22-12 decision to reigning Ivy League champion Brown last Sunday at Virtue Field.
David Closterman and
Charles Huntley each scored three goals in the defeat while
George Egan made four saves in cage for the Cats. Brown jumped out to an early two-goal lead which UVM quickly erased but from that point it was all Bears. Led by Devon McLane's nine-goal afternoon, Brown scored 20 of the game's next 30 goals to leave Burlington with the win.
Harrison Josloff scored his first goal as a Catamount and
Brooks Catlin also saw his first action in the UVM net.
YOUNGSTERS
UVM's all-freshman second midfield line of
Charles Huntley,
Harrison Josloff and
Tristan Whitaker put together a fine outing on Sunday. The trio combined for five goals – all in the second half – on six shots on cage.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard is off to a 1-1 start to the season after defeating Bucknell at home last weekend. The Crimson boast one of the top offenses in the country in the early going averaging 17 goals per contest which is fourth in the country. Harvard has won its last seven games at Jordan Field dating back to 2020. Owen Gaffney and Sam King pace the Crimson offense with eight goals and 11 points apiece while Christian Barnard has started both games in cage and enters the weekend with a .452 save percentage.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Saturday is Vermont's first trip to Harvard since the 2017 season and will the 15
th overall meeting between the two teams. Harvard holds a 12-2 advantage in the all-time series. No current Catamounts have ever suited up against the Crimson.
