LOWELL, Mass. – Several Catamounts registered new personal records in the UMass Lowell Invite on Sunday afternoon at Cushing Field Complex. UVM competed in several throwing events, which were originally scheduled for Saturday (Mar. 25).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emma Wapshare led the Catamounts in the women's javelin with a mark of 38.42 meters to finish in fourth place. Alyssa Bourque (34.25m) and Abby Martin (33.61m) also cracked the top 10, finishing sixth and seventh, respectively.
- Conor Moses was Vermont's top finisher in the men's javelin with a personal-best mark of 51.58 meters. The sophomore was fifth in the competition, one spot ahead of teammate Aidan Peterson (51.13m).
- Morgan Kelley took sixth in the women's discus with a personal-best mark of 39.48 meters.
UP NEXT
Vermont track & field will send student-athletes to a pair of meets next weekend. A group of Catamounts will head to Williamsburg, Virginia for the Colonial Relays (Mar. 31 – Apr. 1), hosted by William & Mary. UVM will also visit Smithfield, Rhode Island for the Black & Gold Invite at Bryant (Apr. 1).
