AZUSA, Calif. – Vermont track & field finished off a busy week on Saturday, with Catamounts seeing action at the Bryan Clay Invite at Azusa Pacific University, and the UMass Invite in Amherst, Massachusetts.

BRYAN CLAY INVITE
- Lauren Triarsi and Carolena Bellini kicked off Saturday's action on the West Coast, competing in the long jump. The UVM duo posted marks of 5.30 meters and 5.18 meters, respectively. Bellini had a mark of 10.73 meters in the triple jump. Triarsi also competed in the 100-meter hurdles, recording a time of 14.68 seconds.
- Alex Siaton logged his fastest 400-meter time of the season, finishing the sprint in 49.69 seconds. The junior had a time of 22.00 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
- Gabby Rausa logged a 400-meter time of 58.85 seconds for her fastest mark of the season. The sophomore ended the day with a time of 25.91 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
UMASS INVITE
- The Vermont women picked up 36.50 points in their team competition to finish in sixth place. The UVM men also placed sixth, grabbing 27.50 points in the competition.
- Pierce DeBoer recorded a second-place finish in the men's high jump, posting a career-best mark of 1.93 meters. The junior was fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best mark of 16.31 seconds.
- Kevin Mills placed fourth in the men's high jump with a season-high mark of 1.88 meters. He was seventh in the javelin with a throw of 52.50 meters.
- Jacob Tremblay logged a third-place finish in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase, running a time of 9:56.62.
- Rachel Barba had a third-place finish in the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.41. Isabelle Shields was fifth with a time of 1:01.19.
- Jameson Sparks ran a personal-best time of 4:03.40 in the men's 1500-meter run to place fifth.
- Knute Linehan was fifth in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.18 meters.
- Hannah Hayden logged a fifth-place finish in the women's 5000-meter run, posting a time of 19:16.78.
- Chike Asanya sprinted to a time of 22.40 seconds in the men's 200-meter dash for a sixth-place finish.
- Abby Martin posted a personal-best mark of 35.79 meters in the women's javelin for a sixth-place finish.
UP NEXT
UVM will compete in two meets next weekend. A group of Catamounts will head to Piscataway, New Jersey for the Rutgers Relays on Apr. 21 & 22. Vermont will also visit UMass Lowell for the George Davis Invite on Apr. 22.
