WOMEN'S HOCKEY NOTEBOOK
After their weekend series with Providence, Vermont travels down to Boston University for a two-game series with the Terriers. Friday's game is set for a 6 p.m. start from Walter Brown Arena. The teams face off again at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon to close out the series. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Saturday's contest also airing live on NESN Plus.

STARTING WITH POSSESSION
The Catamounts have continued to dominate the faceoff circle this season, ranking first in the Nation in faceoff percentage with a 58.3% success rate. Last season, Vermont's 54.7% faceoff win percentage also ranked first in the conference. Natálie Mlýnková is at the forefront of these wins for UVM with 198 on the season whileÂ
Evelyne Blais-Savoie follows close behind with 192 faceoff wins on the year.
CATS ATOP HOCKEY EAST
Sophomore
Krista Parkkonen sits at the top of defenseman in Hockey East in point production. Parkkonen leads all defenders in assists (12) and is tied for first in goals (3). Natálie Mlýnková claims the third spot in goals (11) for the entire conference while also being tied for fourth in points (22).
PRECISION PUCKSÂ
With a shooting percentage of 10.4%, Vermont is first among Hockey East teams and 10th in all of Division I. The Cats have maximized their opportunities, scoring 56 goals on just 541 shots.Â

DEFENSIVE STOPPERS
Vermont ranks first in blocked shots within Hockey East, tallying an impressive total of 331. This places them tied for third nationwide in this category.Â
Sara Levesque holds the third spot in Division I with an outstanding 53 blocks for the season, whileÂ
Krista Parkkonen secures the fifteenth spot nationally with 43 blocked shots this year.

ATTENDANCE RECORD RESET
Vermont broke the Hockey East home attendance record for the second straight year on November 10, smashing the previous record of 2,210. A whopping 2,705 fans attended Saturday's Pack the Gut Challenge game presented by the Windjammer against 15th ranked Boston College.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
BU enters the weekend trailing Vermont by one point in the Hockey East standings. On the season, the Terriers have produced a 9-10-3 (7-8-1 HEA) landing them in a tie for seventh in the conference.

Lacy Martin is the leading goal scorer and point producer for BU with 10 goals and 19 points on the season. Six other Terriers have reached the double-digit point threshold as well. Graduate goaltender Alex Matses has started 13 games for BU this season, averaging 2.59 goals allowed and an .898 save percentage.
SERIES HISTORY
BU is 39-12-8 all-time against Vermont including wins in six of their last 10 matchups. Last season, the Catamounts held a 1-2 record against the Terriers with each game being decided by one score. Mlýnková netted two goals across the three contests. Blais-Savoie and

Senior captain Mlýnková is the top returning scorer in Hockey East this season. She set new career highs in goals (23), assists (19) and points (42) last year.Â

OFFENSIVE TOUCH KEY TO HISTORIC CAMPAIGNSÂ
Vermont scored over 100 goals in each of the last two years for the first time in program history on their way to back-to-back second place finishes in Hockey East with a program record of 22 wins in each campaign. Vermont returns 56.1% of its scoring from a year ago.Â
